AdGuardHome Max rules in AdGuardHome to prevent router freezing?

So revisiting this, now using fewer lists and smaller ones at that too. This makes the load no longer an issue and refreshing the lists gives a temporary performance reduction at best. (Eg: queries take a bit longer to process whilst its updating).
Currently using:
Code:
AdAway Default Blocklist
HaGeZi's Pro Blocklist
HaGeZi TIF Mini
HaGeZi's Xiaomi Tracker Blocklist
https://s3.amazonaws.com/lists.disconnect.me/simple_ad.txt
Quidsup Notrack
Matamo referrer spam
URL HAUS
Phistank
The Big List of Hacked Malware Domains
Phising Army
ShadowWhisperer's Malware
1Hosts (mini)
xRuffKeyz NRD 14 day

Also disabled the AdGuard DNS Filter list. For some reason this also acts as a whitelist (though doesn't show up as one) and overrules other blocklists for domains like www.googleadservices.com. Not sure why they're whitelisting advertising/tracking domains forcefully, weird.

Thanks for the tips!

Using the Hagezi Pro list you’ll probably find that you don’t need most of those other lists as he would already incorporate them into his own.

I'll try and find which lists are incorporated, less is probably more performancewise :)

Thanks, I was able to eliminate a couple of them indeed! One oddity is that Phising Army is incorporated in to the Pro blocklist according to that page, but the Phising Army list alone shows 259.807 rules whereas HaGeZi Pro shows 197.572 rules and comprises more than just PA. What am I overlooking? :)

He filters our dead NX domains, duplicates from other lists etc.
Ah I see! That would ramp up performance for sure. I'll give it a go disabling that one then. Its more of a fail-safe anyway. (IF I accidentally click on a link in a phising mail, its nice to have a second line of defense :P) Must be a hell of a lot of NX domains on Phising Army's list then. o0
