So i have 2xActiontec Moca 2.5 (w/true 2.5 GBe ethernet ports)) units (model #: ECB7250). Firmware version: 1.18.2.0.
One of my units, under Device Status has a section that shows "Ethernet RX" with "Rx Dropped" showing 1593 packets. Snapshot:

My other unit does not have any dropped packets under Tx nor Rx. What would cause these Rx Dropped to be > 0 for this 1 unit?

The unit wiht the Rx Dropped @ 1593 is shown above as Device "0". Not sure why 0->0 is 698 while device 1->1 is 701. I have read this is meaningless but i wish both were the same # (e.g. 701).

Could be QOS... dropping packets is typical here in QOS depending on the traffic flows.

Note that you're seeing dropped packets, but they are not bad packets...
