there is nat loopback problem. :(

with hw acc on,
wired <-(nat loopback)-> wired is good.
but,
wireless(5ghz,ac) <-(nat loopback)-> wired is not good.
a lot of ping were timed out.

I'm still having issues (but less then with 374.205) with clients disconnecting on 2.4 GHz wifi and not being able to reconnect
(once or twice every 24 hours)

The only way is to reboot the router :-(

Any hints how to fix this?

Thanks in advance,

Michael

Ran it for more than 24 hours and net access still works but now when I try to bring up the web interface, I get this page :confused:

Edit: Internet access slowed down considerably (I'm on wired GbE) until a reboot.

Check Asusnets message earlier in the post. Wait for the next release, a comprehensive fix is arriving this week according to them.

Thanks, siju. I hope a fix is on the way.

I immediately regret my decision going back to stock from DD-WRT (like Ron Burgundy jumping into the bear pit)

A little birdie told me that the 2.4ghz woes will be thing of the past after this update. ;)

the DLNA server is buggy, it can't process large files (e.g. bluray movies)

DLNA on Merlin's build works fine though

I would expect Asus's 371 to work just as well, they applied the minidlna patches I sent them a few weeks ago. Unless 371 broke something over 339 (which included the patches).

Possible delay on firmware release

Hi All,

Unfortunately, the firmware update is not likely to release this week for the RT-AC68U. I am sorry to those anticipating this firmware. The upcoming firmware is on based on a new SDK and we a little more time to test it before it is released to the public. I cannot state an exact ETA at this time, but I am hoping by the next two weeks (could be sooner!).

I do have beta versions available, which have received positive results. I will not be releasing these betas publicly. If you wish to try the beta firmware, please contact me via private message.

Note: We are not forgetting the RT-AC56U! I do not have a beta yet for this model, but feel free to message me. I will try to provide a copy when available.

FWIW, that's pretty classy. Now a list of other manufacturers that would make that offer, on a user forum...
