Nothing but trouble since new firmware

The previous firmware didn't have any issue connecting with .ovpn file. I'm not very technical and I'm really hoping that someone can help me out fix openvpn client setting with the new firmware. In the Client Control (Service state) just keep reading CONNECTING but never connect. I did contacted my VPN support line and they seem to think it's my internet provider blocking it???? L2TP is working fine except the openvpn. see attaches files.

And getting repeating message like

dnsmasq-dhcp[326]: not giving name localhost to the DHCP lease of 192.168.1.182 because the name exists in etc hosts with address 127.0.0.1

Probably need to solve your localhost issue first, sounds like you have a device on the network also claiming to be localhost. Also would be good to mention what firmware version you're now running vs what you were previously running. Also model number of your router.

It's your new(?) TV...do a search for 'Samsung localhost'

Apologies for missing out the model of the router and version. I'm using the Asus RT-AC88 and now firmware version: 382.1_2, previous firmware was 380.68_4.

Yes, noticed that 192.168.1.182 is the Samsung TV.

TLS negotiation is failing, which means something is wrong with your OpenVPN configuration. Reset the OpenVPN client to default, and reconfigure it.

Thanks I have done the default and made no different. There's something to do with localhost, is my samsung tv interfering it? See the syslog attached file. I'm a newbie learning this stuff.

Try changing renegotiation time to 0.

First, the VPN error is pretty explicit.....you have not completed the configuration by providing a CA.

For the localhost error, doing the search I suggested will bring you to these posts....
