Sep 23 21:35:48 kernel: eth1 (Ext switch port: 0) (Logical Port: 8) Link UP 1000 mbps full duplex

My first question is what physical port on the router is this, and is anyone else getting this error? I have no connection problems, but I'm unsure why my link keeps dropping. Thanks in advance

So I might have solved my own problem. I recently put my gaming computer(Asus Rog Strix GD30ci), plugged into port 1, in "low power saving mode". I put it in back in "high performance," and the error has seemed to disappear.

According to the signal quality did not better than served Node, Reject this event.

Hi , i got this router , why my 5ghz-1 band not visible /broadcasting on iphone ;samsung .
is like the band is missing ? but in the router is on .

hidden SSID?

do you see a strong signal with a WiFi app where it should be from this router and band?
If not probably faulty hardware.

bandwith set to auto on ch. 36, simple SSID only letters/numbers and password too, WPA2-personal AES, airtime fairness off?

Try to factory reset your router and see what happens. You may have to do this 2-3 times before you manually configure your router. It has been a known issue with GT. If things repeat, please post your wireless configuration for that particular band to see if anyone in the SNB community can assist you with a solution.

Please read the irony, but understand the message.
My GT running AiMesh is 18 days uptime. And that's a record!
I used to loose a 5GHz radio way before reaching that uptime.
Now both 5 GHz radios are serving clients. And that makes me happy!

The power on 2.4 is crap. Like really crap on router while perfect on node (RT-AC68U). And I cannot send feedback from router's interface to complain about it! But I don't really care about that...
+Arthur_Ln@ for a suggestion.

There are some REALLY good articles about SmartConnect here on SNB. Do a bit of a search and you'll get a great primer on this feature.

To me, however, SmartConnect is TOO smart. And exposes TOO many settings. I recommend avoiding SmartConnect. Why not designate different bands for different needs and allow specific devices to connect to those bands?
