Some news regarding the latest firmware...

Hi

We have received some feedback regarding WiFi connection reliability under some conditions, and have pulled 3.0.0.4.386.44985.

New version is incoming.

For the meantime, I will suggest to rollback to the current stable build, 3.0.0.4.386_43084 for optimal result.

3.0.0.4.386_43084 still had AIMESH issue. I have all clients disconnected either at node or router after every couple of days because of 2.4 ghz wifi. Changing channel on 2.4 ghz used to solve the issue but it was too bad.

With 3.0.0.4.386.44985 I don;t have any issue so far on AIMESH side

@leerees I can't find much on here about it, but I just updated from 41712 to 44695, sort of accidentally. (I went to check for updates, and clicked the button to apply the update unintentionally -- was a bit surprised there's no "are you sure" prompt or warning that the system will reboot...) Is 44695 OK, no known issues? I had over 100 days uptime on 41712 with minimal issues, hoping this won't be a problematic release.

New Firmware 3.0.0.4.386.45898 released yesterday. It does say "Fixed AiMesh web page multi-language issues." not sure what that means.

I am still at 3.0.0.4.386_44985 with no issues. This was the firmware that fixed AIMESH for me which ASUS pulled back from their website. I had AIMESH issues since last 1 year prior dating back to Oct 2020.

Anyone wanting to take a dip?

Asus removed the tri-band smart connect for wireless backhaul bug (feature) in 3.0.0.4.386_44985.

However, there's still one other way to do it if you want 4x4 AX client access with the wireless backhaul.

Can anybody on 45898 confirm if it still works?
