Script to email bandwidth usage.

I was wondering if anyone happened to have a script that would email me the bandwidth usage per device per day and month?
I saw a post for something like it here http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Useful_Scripts#Email_Bandwidth_Usage_Daily but I was having trouble changing the format. I am not very experienced in writing these scripts so any help or direction would be appreciated.

Part of that code helped me to get it working in my ad blocker script to send blocking stats, even as an attachment.
