Setting up Transmission through Entware

It's all ok, dunno why do you have this issues, try to reformatt the drive and install all from scratch

I'm running 380.61. Also, I don't know what to do with that information.

Could use VI to create the file and paste the contents into it and make it executable. Do you see the files listed in directory?

Nope. I don't even have a "/opt/etc/transmission" folder. The only folder/files that "opkg install transmission-web" installs is the "/opt/share/transmission" folder, and its contents.

If I try to create the S88transmission file, starting it up fails.

same for me now, I had to reinstall Transmission today and the command:
wget -c -O /opt/etc/init.d/S95transmission http://goo.gl/cSA0os

fails. ERROR 404: Not Found.

With Optware, with this instruction:

I am trying to reinstall Transmission from your guide here: https://github.com/RMerl/asuswrt-merlin/wiki/Transmission-through-Optware using Optware instead of Entware.

But when it comes to line 4 :
wget -c -O /opt/etc/init.d/S95transmission http://goo.gl/cSA0os
I get ERROR 404: Not Found.

Which guide should I use, Optware or Entware? I have installed Optware.

Im guessing that line 4 (wget) should download the S95transmission file from a location that does not exists? The http://goo.gl/cSA0os
