Can anyone running the 384.15 alpha, this script, and Skynet only please try the develop branch and let me know if you experience any conflicts with WebUI tab mounting between spdMerlin and Skynet? I've pushed some changes to be compatible, but I'm not able to run alpha firmware on the only router in the house

I just reinstalled spdMerlin and it took out the SkyNet tab from the GUI. Uninstalled spdMerlin and rebooted router. Now Skynet tab appears again.

Will try reinstalling spdMerlin again and see what happens.

Make sure you're not using any of my other ui scripts for the time being (connmon, ntpmerlin, uiDivStats) etc.

Uninstalled ntpMerlin and spdMerlin.

Rebooted.

Allowed router to stabilize for 5 minutes. The Skynet tab did not come up in the webgui this time.

Issued:

sh /jffs/scripts/firewall settings webui enable

The Skynet shows up.

Reinstalled spdMerlin. This removed the Skynet tab.

Reissued:

sh /jffs/scripts/firewall settings webui enable

And Skynet tab appears.

Now installed spdMerlin and changed line 24 of the script to “develop” (could not remember if I had to type this or “developer” instead)

Skynet tab disappears.

On spdMerlin I am unable to run option 2 as it asks me to select a server even though I have one showing on option 4.

Tried option 4 to reselect another server but this time this brings up empty options that continue on nonstop unless I use this:

“Crtl + C” to make it to stop.

Reissued “uf” on spdMerlin and that fixed the server issue.

I thought it was interesting that after changing the branch to “develop” the last couple of times, I didn’t get the usual “do you want to update....?” that I have seen before.

Tests are running just fine and speeds observed are those expected.


I am still on “develop” branch.

Skynet tab is gone. Rebooted router to see if it came up on its own after 3-5 minutes.

Skynet is up!

Now I have both Skynet and spdMerlin in webgui.

Installed ntpMerlin and rebooted. Skynet tab appears upon reboot.

Interesting issue to report:

When clicking on the Speedtest tab in the GUI that no longer displays any graphs but points to the router new FW upload/update page (???). I tried several times and keep getting the same thing.

Rebooted the router again and I get the same thing when accessing this tab:

Now I am confused [emoji6].

Will let the router stabilize and recheck again.

I am behind a vpn so I copied the script file spdmerlin.sh to /jffs/scripts. But I can't do a manual install, what I am doing wrong. I am on the latest Firmware Version:384.14_2
I did do the WebUI, and went to the Administration area of the left menu, and then the System tab. Set Enable JFFS custom scripts and configs to Yes.

You need to install entware and a swap file.
