Anybody getting this in there error log ? Never seen this with 43_2. Does this has something to do with comcast ipv6 neighbor overflow issue ? I really want to use this firmware but getting thousands of these since the upgrade to 376.44. Any ideas ?

Could indeed be related to this issue.

As a temporary workaround, configure a wan-start script with the following:

Code:
#!/bin/sh
nvram set ipv6_neighsol_drop=1
nvram commit

Reboot your router, then make sure the setting is properly enabled:

Code:
nvram get ipv6_neighsol_drop

See if it stops those log entries from getting generated.

Thanks Merlin yes that link seems to be whats going on. I am a total novice when it comes to routers i have no clue how to do what you suggested. I may have to just go back to 43_2 unfortunately. :(

Tim or Merlin you can delete this thread. I have reverted back to 374.43_2 and will be staying there until the time i purchase another router. Thanks !!

If you are a novice then my advice would be to simply disable IPv6 support as it won't bring you any benefit.

That is an option but i would rather not. I have had native v6 here for some time now and i want to be able to use it if possible. I dont have a issue with 43_2 but i feel now i am stuck with this firmware. Its not just v6 there are plenty of other bugs in the latest builds as well. Also with the FCC stepping in it just seems like things are going down hill. :(

Yeay, someone else uses tapatalk. Back on topic, RMerlin is right, IPV6 tends to have download/upload slowdowns, compatibility issues, and there are plenty of servers/sites that don't use IPV6 yet. I have found zero benefits at my location and only issues: slower access to certain websites, router stops responding, comcast ipv6 goes down all the time, slower download. I just disabled it and have been much happier ever since. My entire neighborhood complains about comcast internet, but when they all go down, my BW skyrockets.
