[test request]: Mikrotik based Wifi routers

Hi,

I´d like to see a review of a Mikrotik Wifi access point, e.g. a RB493G equipped with dual band R52nM network adapters.

I want to see the real peformnace. How does it compare to the usual competitors...

Definately a good idea. I have a 450G and really like it. Performance seems great, and it's very configurable. However configuring it seems more like configuring a cisco router from the command line. There is a windows utility, and the web gui has improved, but there are a lot of settings you can't set from the gui and to really appreciate it's power you need to understand about networking and not mind having to configure from the command line.

I think I could even run wrt based distro's as virtual machines...
