The best firewall setup? Is there such a thing?

So I am already using the scripts for stopping connection from outside (different countries and TOR), and AdBlocking on hostname.

My question now seems to be: Since I know that NO connection is supposed to come to my router - can I secure it even more? The only traffic I need is from the inside (different clients), and even that is limited to standard stuff like http (port 80), https (443), and a few more ports (53, 123, 943 and 1194). That's all.

Can this be simplified someway? or more secure?
