(S)He might really mean Quad9 (9.9.9.9).
It just seems unlikely as they're using CloudFlare below.

Technically, they had both Cloudflare and Quad9 in the DoT server list.It just seems unlikely as they're using CloudFlare below.
I ignored the warning too. It would be nice if people weren't falsely put off using my script, however.I did too temporarily and missed the information/control/graphs too much!
After noticing that the 'i' option specifically said that the above warnings may be ignored? I just ignore it now!
And @Jack Yaz's ntpMerlin is back, baby!
Do what works for you. While in general it’s better to leave it as No, it used to be Yes for a long time (before it was even a customizable option). But if you ever have issues after a reboot with time not syncing, consider changing it back.Hey @dave14305 with my client list bug I'm unable to list host names when using the "Clients" command since using unbound recommends not using the "Wan: Use local caching DNS server as system resolver (default: No) set to Yes" any idea what I can do instead?
It works still. I added a dnsmasq.conf.add file with server=/time.nrc.ca/1.1.1.1 in it and it reboots without issue. Thanks once again super dave!Do what works for you. This was another prerequisite that is a best practice but not really required for Unbound to work, as best I can tell.
https://github.com/Xentrk/Asuswrt-Merlin-Linux-Shell-Scripts#profileadd@skeal, what is this 'Clients' command you reference? And how can I leverage it for my usage?
Options: Auto Reply='y' for User Selectable Options ('1 2 3 4 5')
[✖] ***ERROR Enable local NTP server=NO see http://routers_ip/Advanced_System_Content.asp ->Basic Config

You need to set your NTP server to on under Administration>System Tab.I'm a bit confused; how can I change this?:
Code:Options: Auto Reply='y' for User Selectable Options ('1 2 3 4 5')
when someone change ports in system tab those links are not fully usefull
would be nice ifCode:[✖] ***ERROR Enable local NTP server=NO see http://routers_ip/Advanced_System_Content.asp ->Basic Config

If you answer "y" it will answer options 1 through 5 as Yes.I'm a bit confused; how can I change this?:
Code:Options: Auto Reply='y' for User Selectable Options ('1 2 3 4 5')
when someone change ports in system tab those links are not fully usefull

If you want advanced install you need to copy the URL from the GitHub site then it gives you full control. I believe the one in AMTM is the Easy option rather than advanced.I'm a bit confused; how can I change this?:
Code:Options: Auto Reply='y' for User Selectable Options ('1 2 3 4 5')
when someone change ports in system tab those links are not fully usefull
would be nice ifCode:[✖] ***ERROR Enable local NTP server=NO see http://routers_ip/Advanced_System_Content.asp ->Basic Config

The original SME insisted on an 'easy' install, so when the script is invoked from amtm the menu is in 'Easy' mode.I'm a bit confused; how can I change this?:
Code:Options: Auto Reply='y' for User Selectable Options ('1 2 3 4 5')
e = Exit Script
E:Option ==> advanced

A:Option ==> i
Noted.when someone change ports in system tab those links are not fully usefull

I'll check it tomorrow morning with a reboot and log enabled as per your suggestion. I can't fool around with the router right now or my family will lynch me.There is nothing in Syslog?
If it happens again, before reinstalling using 'i', does 'rs' fix the issue?
Perhaps you should set up logging 'lo', then 'vx' and set 'verbosity: 4'
Then reboot.
This may help track down your issue.
NOTE: I do experience a weird error (documented in the code) but since I never REBOOT between the numerous uninstall/reinstall cycles, when the script encounters the error, if I wait a few seconds, usually the error goes away, or I have to bite the bullet and REBOOT.
P.S. Don't forget to reset 'verbosity: 1'
