I had no doubt that they (Asus) were 'technically' right, but that doesn't mean they're still trying to confuse consumers.
I would agree - but the blame here is on Broadcom, not Asus, as other vendors have done the same thing...
And perhaps that was Broadcom's marketing objective - run the numbers up - to whit, we've got a lot of big numbers these days, and how those numbers are achieved - depends whether one is Broadcom, QC-Atheros, or Marvell (and Realtek and Mediatek these days are a lot more honest, lol)
