Hi,

I've been using Asus routers for the past few years. Started with RT-N66U and swapped it for RT-AC3200 just a month ago. I adore work from RMerlin and I hope he'll continue it further.

I haven't really been using any user scripts till recently and I must say I'm really enthusiastic about AB-Solution that now blocks ads all over my network.

I wonder if we have a list of useful scripts for Asuswrt-Merlin? I didn't find any lists and that's why I'm asking.

On top of pure scripting you should install Entware-NG on a USB thumb drive to get more things going, like:

- If you love AD-blocking you will also like DNScrypt....

- Having an exact time source for your network could be also a benefit: Have a look into the NTP Daemon setup! ;)

This are my two suggestions - others may give you more food to digest! :D

...and if you really want to be super cool, add the cjdns package and connect your router to hyperboria. You may be surprised to find a meshlocal near you using it that you can peer with, as well...
If you make it that far, you might be interested in scuttlebutt.nz

package openssh-sftp-server is a good one so you can use an sftp gui session with the router OS.
