This rule will enable all multicast from the guest interface to the router:

If this doesn't work, remove the previous rules by running

service restart_firewall

This will show what specific things are still being rejected by YazFi after whitelisting NetBIOS and multicast

Hey Jack,

Installed latest today on a clean install of 384.9 & AMTM on my 5300.

I knew it would likely fail as I have wifi disabled on this merlin router * see sig for why. ** Not my testing router.

Anyway install starts and then aborts with the " System requirements not met see above for why" message. At least thats what I think it says.

It goes by way too fast.

Yet the script kicks me out 2 seconds after the warning comes up and back to the amtm prompt. I would think it would default to a set time 10 or 15 seconds or wait for user input, so they can read the reasons.

Then after kicking me out to the amtm screen it shows as YazFi installed. Yet the install option still shows as red.

Installed latest today on a clean install of 384.9 & AMTM on my 5300.

I knew it would likely fail as I have wifi disabled on this merlin router * see sig for why. ** Not my testing router.

Anyway install starts and then aborts with the " System requirements not met see above for why" message. At least thats what I think it says. It goes by way too fast.

Yet the script kicks me out 2 seconds after the warning comes up and back to the amtm prompt. I would think it would default to a set time 10 or 15 seconds or wait for user input, so they can read the reasons.

Then after kicking me out to the amtm screen it shows as YazFi installed. Yet the install option still shows as red.

Ah - it works fine on a manual install, but with amtm when YazFi exits, it drops back to the amtm menu and you can no longer see the printed output showing the failures. An easy fix (in theory!)

Maybe... Add a line below the installed comment with the location to a log file with any errors ?

Also I can't connect anymore to that cam if I am at my normal WLAN network or from the outside

Any hints?

As a quick sanity check - is this with or without the other rules we tried? i.e. if you run service restart_firewall and then run only the icmp rule, does it work?

To all - what's the general consensus on allowing guests to ping the router?

YES it does work with only ICMP enabled

It looks like the Panasonic TV is trying to run some sort of server itself - YazFi allows the relevant port (67 inbound, router outbound is unrestricted) on the router so DHCP is successful

The other issue (prob connected with Dport 8200) is that the Panasonic TV does not connect via DLNA using 5.1 Guest. Sometimes I use DLNA server ( inbuilt into TV ) to connect to my Iphone to view TV channels or movies on iphone. Also sometimes I use DLNA to cast movies to TV - as an alternative to using Chromecast.
I tried issuing this command
iptables -I YazFiINPUT -i wl1.1 -p tcp --dport 8200 -j ACCEPT
but still not working
