[ 3006.102_4 alpha Build(s) ] available build(s)

@nzwayne

No need to report anything unless it's new; which in your case it doesn't appear to be based on your screenshot provided.
You need to install the development versions which resolves the issues as mentioned in the thread linked.

Development versions of the add-ons below:
View attachment 64715

1. install version 4.4.6 of spdmerlin (you currently have 4.4.5 and the issues are already documented)
2. install version 1.4.2 of the unbound WebUI. https://github.com/juched78/Unbound-Asuswrt-Merlin/pull/9
3. Install version 3.4.6 of ntpmerlin (you currently have 3.4.5 and the issues are documented)

I know nothing about FlexQoS; but dave commented right above mine, so he would know the situation better for that add-on.
Thanks @ExtremeFiretop for the tips, plus I can see the work you have done on this BE topic in forum searches. Found this nice summary append on how to get most development updates from a 'trusted reference'. https://www.snbforums.com/threads/c...ith-addons-with-gt-be98-pro.90657/post-918234
As Dave indicated just above, we await ASUS an update for QoS. Appreciated to all, thanks!

Very good summery on how to get the develop versions for anyone else in a similar boat. Happy you found the required info. 😃

Of course if you notice anything unreported always document it, but in this case I think we are mostly waiting for the dev versions of those add-ons to become production versions.

hello, just wanted to ask.. does guest network usually slower than the main wifi?
No they should be the same ,at least i get the same results using guest or main

that's what I thought as well but I am not getting the same result from guest network which is kind of strange
Didi you read/understand mine and bennor-s answers...?

SPLIT the Guest network in two - one 2.4 and other 5 GHz!
The devices cant get same speed on 2.4 and 5 GHz, and arent usually smart enough to always choose 5 GHz (laptops maybe if chosen prefer 5 GHz).

yes, i understood what u guys mean. i already separate them up and i am not using 2.4Ghz already. i am using 5Ghz for now and i am still getting at the most 200+++ Mbps only.

Well, that's not normal...
Unless if played with the Bandwidth Limiter option.

I'm getting locked out of the SSD console after two to three days of uptime. When trying to log in the following message is returned by my terminal app:

Code:
Connection closed by 192.168.1.1 port 22

The system log doesn't show anything when attempting to open a connection. Only a reboot fill fix this. Since I can't get into the SSH console is there something else I can check on the GUI that would help with this problem?

Also trying to change the port doesn't help. Getting the same error with the new port number.

Double checked, after a period of time IoT devices connected to the IoT network loose connection. Rebooting reconnects them.
I will check logs when at home.
...
Logs examined.
It seems when wifi schedule (Wireless -Professional -Enable wireless scheduler) turns off wifi and and after a period of time turns on, all other wifi appliances (phones, notebooks etc) reconnect except those in IoT network (created in Guest Network Pro).
Turning IoT Network on-off (Main Subnet) makes no difference. Router has to be rebooted.
...
Couple of hours later out of nowhere IoT devices connected again without any intervention.

i realise that smart connect is not really working properly for this alpha. unable to select just 5Ghz over at the Wireless page and i can only do this over Network Map under Wireless. if i do this, the SSID will tend to mess up.
