    [Official] RT-AC3200 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.378.913

I have the choice of waiting until Wednesday and grab a new RT-AC3200, or I could get a combo of Asus RT-AC68U/W + RT-N66U/AC68U as the cost is pretty much the same the RT-AC3200. Is there any real difference between the RT-AC3200 and the RT-AC68U/W besides the Smart Connect feature? The SoC is...

    [Official] RT-AC3200 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.378.913

Sadly I don't. I did try to recovery to 378.55, I also tried to revert back to the very first official RT-AC3200 firmware but there is no change to the behaviour. It sounds like you are correct as the router seems to be in a constant rebooting state, it seems to keep rebooting every five minutes...

    [Official] RT-AC3200 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.378.913

I did upgrade directly from Merlin 378.55, but I don't see how that is supposed to change anything? Like I said, the initial upgrade itself went just fine and I was running 378.9135. It was the moment I hit factory restore within the webui everything went down the drain.

    [Official] RT-AC3200 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.378.913

Mine is going back to the retailer on Monday for a replacement, that's one of the good thing living in Norway where things like this will get replaced directly in the store without much questions asked. But this issue seems really silly, I'm seriously considering replacing it with something...

    [Official] RT-AC3200 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.378.913

If you read my thread; http://www.snbforums.com/threads/did-i-just-brick-my-asus-rt-ac3200.27388/ You will see that I have successfully "restored" using the restoration utility but it does not resolve anything. It claims I have to wait for the router to reboot but nothing happens. There is no...

    [Official] RT-AC3200 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.378.913

Mine seems to be bricked completely... Now the restoration utility simply crashes when I try to use it.

Did I just brick my Asus RT-AC3200?

I was updating my Asus RT-AC3200 from Asus Merlin 378.55 to the new official 3.0.0.4.378.9135 release and something must have went wrong somewhere.. Because I can't for the life of me get this router back up and running. I did the regular firmware update, and followed by doing a factory default...

Not able to reach HTTP (Port 80) from WAN

I was using both my external IP and DNS name, both worked with auto-resolving on port 80.

Not able to reach HTTP (Port 80) from WAN

I'm having trouble reaching IIS on my Windows Server from WAN through my Asus RT-AC3200 running Merlin 378.50 firmware. I do have the HTTP 80 Port forwarded to the IP of my Windows Server installation but I'm still not able to reach it externally for some reason. I have tried to disabled /...

Asus RT-AC3200 keeps dropping WAN under torrent load?

I keep having issues with my Asus RT-AC3200 and torrent traffic.. After I configured uTorrent on my server and keeps downloading and seeding some larger files (5 active downloads) it keeps freezing on me forcing me to manually reboot the router in order to get my Internet connection back on...

    Asus RT-AC3200 issues and impressions

But you can't really control beamforming while you have Smart Connect activated? Aren't you supposed to leave all advanced options alone when using Smart Connect?

    Asus RT-AC3200 issues and impressions

I'm having issues with my RT-AC3200 and our mobile and tablets. The WiFi throughput is really lacklustre, testing with SpeedTest-app we normally see 0,5-2mbit down and 1mbit on our 120/120mbit connection. I've figured we can't expect awesome results on mobile phones and tablets, but this is...

    ASUS RT-AC5300

It's more "future proofing" that anything else. You won't see many notebooks, tablets or phones supporting TubroQAM or MUMIMO at the launch of this router. But I do expect there to be products within the next 1-4 years that will support it and purchasing routers like the RT-AC5200 will mostly be...

    Google OnHub Announced & Reviewed

Hardware seems interesting, but I'm willing to bet that the software is limited to such a degree that it becomes rather frustrating to use for "prosumers". Neither TheVerge or Engadget's "reviews" seems to do any deep-dive within the firmware/software of the OneHub, as you'd expect. How on...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.55 is now available

I was using the official Asus BETA firmware for my RT-AC3200 and flashed it to 378.55 and have yet to do a clear nvram / reset to factory defaults and it's behaving strangely at times. So I have figured I need to clear the nvram. But I have large amount of DHCP Reservations / IP-reservations...

    CFE bootloader update

I've uploaded the CFE Bootloader from my RT-AC3200 EU, it's running 2.0.0.3. https://www.dropbox.com/s/w94xno107w8dnfy/RT-AC3200%20CFE%202.0.0.3%20EU.rar?dl=0

    RT-AC87 and RT-AC3200 Why?

I do agree that the Asus RT-AC87U is not something you should really buy unless you are interested in the MU-MIMO aspect of the 5.0GHz. And like David stated in the first post, how likely are you to have various MU-MIMO devices? As of today, this is only for a very small niche and the amount of...

    [RT-AC87U] Adaptive-QoS doesn't do jack?

I'm able to get CTF+FA up and running using ssh and pushing nvram set ctf_fa_mode=1 using Putty. But it keeps getting disabled on reboot.

    [RT-AC87U] Adaptive-QoS doesn't do jack?

I can't seem to figure how to get CTF+FA back after enabling adaptive QoS. Simply disabling it does not seem to do the trick. I also tried to disabling all the Trend Micro "Ai Protecion" settings, DNS filtering settings, jumbo frames, port forwarding and what not.. I'm basically back to running...
