    My ax88u performed dual wan without issue so you might want to consider a full reset and manual configuration if you're having issues with it.

    New ROG GT-BE98 Pro

    I kept mine but turned my old ax88u into an aimesh node to extend the 2.4 and 5ghz bands. Dual wan is still broken on this router and I never heard a peep from asus after reporting it. If someone else would make dual wan routers I would probably switch to them.

    Return it and move on but you should send a report to Asus first so they're aware of the issue.

    I suppose that I'll just have to live with it for now. On a positive note tonight I turned my ax88u into an aimesh node and mounted it on the wall where I had the be92u at.

    Dual wan is broken and I had to manually unplug the cable to fall back to the primary just like I had to do with the be92u. I submitted a report about it.

    Well I've been up on this router for just over two hours now after a massive struggle to get the GUI to respond. It was so bad after I reset it like 8 times that I almost boxed it up and took it back until I tried Firefox and it worked. I've still got to spend more time adjusting the antennas...

    Thanks for the feedback. Failover fallback is what I'm interested in. I remember the days when it never worked on my ac88u then just before the unit failed Asus fixed it. On my ax88u its worked right since day one and that is the experience I'm hoping for with the 98 pro.

    If you save your configuration before you do it then all you have to afterwards is just reload it and see if the issue cleared up.
