Asus ROG GT-BE98 Pro New Firmware 3.0.0.6.102_37038

I'm having the same issue on my be96u. The mobile app works fine, but the webUI tells me it can't access the servers.

    Release ASUS RT-BE96U Firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_37038 (2024/12/03)

I was seeing quite a few issues with IoT devices connecting with this version so I had to revert back to the 37031 version for resolution. I'm using AiMesh with 3 ET12 nodes.

    VLANs on RT-BE96U

I may set some time on project work in the future when I'm home alone. My family gets a tad disgruntled when they get kicked offline for an extended period. :)

    VLANs on RT-BE96U

Great! I'm glad it worked out. I figured it was either a bug on the IoT or maybe Asus didn't account for wired devices on the IoT network. That doesn't really make sense in the event someone uses a wired hub. I believe most home auto systems have both, but for me, why go wireless when you...

    VLANs on RT-BE96U

I made a customized Guest network in addition with my IoT one. I was able to attach guests to that as well as assign them to the ports and pull an ip address from the VLAN port assigned. I was also able to move my IoT devices to the customized network as well and get the correct IP addresses...

    VLANs on RT-BE96U

I'm seeing the same issue as you were with the IoT vlans. I did have some success with Guest vlans and port configuration though. To solve my problem on the IoT vlan, I just dual homed my homebridge machine with a wifi adapter so I didn't continue troubleshooting. I'm not sure if port...

Release ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.З88_24610 (2024/11/08)

I had a lengthy support case with ASUS and they told me that VLAN support will not be included because of stability/interop issues. I personally was using the beta on one of my ET12's and assigned a vlan to an interface, which ended up failing. Don't know if they are related, but nonetheless...

Release ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.З88_24610 (2024/11/08)

I did hear they dropped the vlan support (physical interface), but the will support Guest Network pro. You can assign a vlan to the physical interfaces with the beta, but that will go away when it release.

Release ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.З88_24610 (2024/11/08)

I read on the UKtechhub that Asus plans to release it some time next year. https://uktechhub.com/forums/topic/asus-zenwifi-pro-et12-official-thread/page/5/#post-34386

    Release ASUS RT-BE96U Firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_37031 (2024/11/07)

Flashed and working well with my aimesh with 3 ET12's running the 9.0.0.6 beta. Much more stable than the pre 37XXX builds. Had to schedule weekly reboots because the memory filled up and rebooted on it's own. Now this thing hums along at a consistent 45% memory utilization.

Beta ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 Firmware version 9.0.0.6.102.4856

I still use this beta on my 3 ET12 aimesh nodes. I have a be96u as the main router and it works with propogating vlans to all of the nodes. The 388.x versions don't support this for the IoT networks. They should be stable enough until the 3.0.0.6 build come out next year.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3006.102.2 is now available for Wifi 7 devices

I prefer to just restore config, but have had issues at times, and had to start fresh. I have 120+ hosts on my network so it's a painful process to re-input client names, which is why I'm always hesitant and last resort fresh start. I do find though the system tends to purr nicely when I do.

ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 AXE11000 half WiFi speed

I've seen first hand how poor the support is with Asus pertaining to the ET12. I won't go into detail as there's not enough space and time for that. :). I have spent months worth of emails and voice calls all to come up with zero. I have three ET12's, and finally relegated them to aimesh nodes...

RT-BE88U won't connect to internet after reboot.

I've seen issues like this, but on my fibre internet. The mac address on the router is cached at the ONT and needs a considerable amount of time to be powered down for the cache to clear. I'm not sure if Spectrum or your cable modem have a similar caching policy. Have you attempted to use the...

Are the new RT-BE96U / GT-BE98_PRO really worth it over my current Asus RT-AX88U?

I upgraded my network from eero Pro to the be96u with zenwifi pro ET12's in an aiMesh, because of the fact the eeros couldn't handle the amount of clients I was using very well. Guest Network Pro has been amazing as well since I have a lot of home automation devices. The 6e and guest network...

    ET12 AiMesh 5GHz issue with GT-AXE16000

From what I've experienced it's best to have routers that have compatible channels when using aiMesh. Meaning 2.4ghz, 5g, 6g with the same supported aimesh nodes or 2.4g, 5-1g, 5-2g with comparable mesh nodes. The GT-BE98 Pro has two 6Ghz channels. (2.4, 5, 6-1, 6-2). I'm not saying they...

    ET12 AiMesh 5GHz issue with GT-AXE16000

I really like it. It seems solid. Everything that I use works. AiMesh, Guest Network Pro, etc. The router's memory fills up and reboots on it's own around the 3-4 week time period, so I typically just set a schedule to reboot instead of letting it crash. I'm running the latest Merlin...

    ET12 AiMesh 5GHz issue with GT-AXE16000

I ran into this scenario as well with the AXE16000 with multiple ET12 nodes. I couldn't get the clients to connect on 5Ghz to the nodes. I read it's been a problem with other users as well. I ended up returning the AXE16000 and getting a be96u. In your case I'd return the ET12 and get the...
