Just a reminder to all that I've done 'dirty' upgrades on my main RT-AX86U since I bought it ~2 years ago today. And, I started on a 'beta' back then too.

No issues on my network at all.

Edit: and my speeds have stayed as fast as when I first reported them in post 48 (7 days ago).

Hi Merlin, Thanks for all the work you do! Would it be easy to add an MTU size field in the GUI for WireGuard? I'm sure it involves more work behind the scenes but thought I'd ask. Appreciate it!

I already received a patch from Asus to implement the backend part of it, however they hadn`t implemented the webui portion of it. Since I haven`t had time to do so, I haven`t merged their MTU patch yet either. That will have to come later, the last two weeks were already overloaded between the dcd troubleshooting and the rework of the QoS Classification handling that had been largely broken for who knows how long.

Let's GO!

Upgrade is done on router and Mesh.
Looks solid, no issues observerd

in 5m will do whole system reboot

What has changed to be worth the update process ? There is no new GPL in this next final release.
Based on the changelog, the only items that have changed or were updated from the last alpha are:
- UPDATED: OpenVPN to 2.6.7.
- FIXED: Various issues with the QOS Classification page

Whether it's worth it or not, that's up to you.

24 mim after reboot to whole network.
Everything looks solid.

All the network is solid.

Can go to sleep peacefully here.

First 8.5h of uptime.
No issues observed, stabillity reserved indeed.

Hadn't have this bug in a lot of releases.
Not sure why is it back and what makes it happen

The entire traffic gets "freezed" like that, and logout-login is resolving it.
Hope it would be resolved in later Alpha/Beta.

Dirty upgrade over first alpha1, 5 hr uptime. So far so good. Dual Wan throughput working well. Slightly lower memory usage, 48% after 5 hr. Will give a day to see what happens with memory. No scripts active.

LOL Same here, thought that's my active imagination :p

Love the working Classification page. And it works even with Cake enabled.

Dirty upgrade...No issues to report...

Has been working for me since November 3rd without any errors!

Finally the Classification page works (without QOS being enabled), same as it used to on my old RT-AC87U! :)
It might seem trivial, but it can seriously help on monitoring/debugging connections on devices without having to know/translate the IPs...
