Yeah, we're all seeing it. It's a known issue with ASUS' bits, stock firmware is seeing it too.Started seeing this after updating.

Any ideas what the problem is?
I have had to rollback to 384.8_2 because I couldn’t get access to samba but it’s a great build other than that. I’m sure the issues will get ironed outSmooth upgraded right over 384.7_2. 15 hours of uptime. All devices have stayed connected. Great alpha build. Thank you, @RMerlin!
There's something going on with the latest alpha on my AX88U, 5Ghz refuses to stay online, even with rebooting and power cycle.
Oddly it's pretending to be online with hovering over the tooltip for wireless and in the Professional tab, but Tools says otherwise. (and the LED is off)

Thanks for the heads-up!This alpha for RT-AX88U is merged with GPL 384_5247. All my troubles with this router were impossible to fix/detect the problem. The major one was 5GHz radio going dead. The situation improved for a couple of days after going with the official FW .5329. Then the whole story started all over again. It was not a single unit/firmware problem. My friend had exactly the same problem. Asus support couldn't fix the issues. I returned my router and so did my friend, we couldn't wait any longer for the next release of the better firmware. You may wanna try official .5329 and/or wait for Eric to get his hands on GPL for .5329. Hopefully it will work better on your unit.
After updating, did an Initialize and 5Ghz was off during the first time setup.Check your configuration. Wifi is perfectly stable here with my RT-AX88U, only issue being power-management issues causing my mobile device batteries to drain at a faster rate than usual.
I'll try reflashing, or just going back to another version to see if I goobered something up, in case this Alpha just isn't for me.
Yes, I have noticed same behave. But it's better with this build (alpha1-gce9e63186)I noticed a bit of strange behavior with the Network Map>View List feature. This is out of @RMerlin control but all the same I noticed some of my wired connections not showing up. Anyone else have this problem. I have 16 connected devices but the list only shows 13.

Thanks I thought I was seeing things and was about to reset, but if it is happening with your router as well, I won't reset yet.Yes, I have noticed same behave. (alpha1-gce9e63186)
I noticed this entry as well in my logs. After a reboot only one of those entries shows up.EDIT: I think this have to do with this:
Code:Jan 1 16:22:43 WLCEVENTD: eth2: Assoc 14:2D:27:xx:xx:xx Jan 1 16:23:26 WLCEVENTD: eth2: Assoc 88:3D:24:xx:xx:xx
Uh I don't reset mine, I have a ton of configs. And must test all after that. Thanks I thought I was seeing things and was about to reset, but if it is happening with your router as well, I won't reset yet.
Thank you for reaffirming what an ALPHA (Test) firmware is, I'm well aware and just trying to help with the testing. This is ALPHA (Test) firmware, there will be bugs and errors and the firmware will be changed many times before a stable release .
If you need a stable environment /run a business/ have internet of things relying on your router then you shouldn't be touching any alpha/beta firmware,
