AC66U Media Bridge mode speed issue

JXgN34Lg58Jyef

New Around Here
Hi,
I've running two AC66Us with the latest original firmware (3.0.0.4.374_5517) here. The first one is connected with my cable modem (running in Bridge Mode) and running in Router mode (not in AP mode). The second one is running in Media Bridge Mode (7-8 m distance).

Computer A is connected to the first AC66U and getting my full 250Mbit/15Mbit internet speed.
Computer B is connected to the second AC66U (Media Bridge), and I only receive about 150Mbit/15Mbit.

When I do an iperf-Test between Computer A and B (on the local network), I get about 500-600Mbit in both directions.

What is happening?

Edit: After letting things settle in, I am now getting full speed on the new access point, so my issue probably was hardware related.

Question: Your units are hard wired together correct?

The two AC66U are connected via 5GHz WiFi.

Could it be, that it has something to do with hardware acceleration? I read other reports saying that they would not get more than 150Mbit, because their hardware acceleration is somehow disabled.
