There has been zero code change related to wifi since 380.61. It's all webui changes, a minidlna upgrade, and the addition of nano.

I do understand, and after resetting to factory default, and re-entering the appropriate settings, everything is now running well

I'm noticing two different alpha builds for the 88u, both listed as alpha 1. one has a more recent date. I assume that has some more tweaks?

Ac68U and N66U no upgrade or functions issues.

Odd cosmetic issue when router reconnects to a pppoe connection.
The reconnecting page comes up and the connection does reconnect but when it does the reconnect page starts going nuts refreshing it self like crazy.

This is with latest firefox and upgraded alpha firmware.

AC-87U Running latest alpha quite smoothly a few hours now. Previous had continuous, steady uptime since it's release. Both flashes went ok. Thanks!

I noticed what may be a small cosmetic bug. It may have been present in earlier versions as well. Under System Log, then Wireless Log on the 2.4 GHz where it shows the Channel if it 6 it seems to have an extra character. Looks like 6l. I have a picture of it:

Notice the Channel: 6l.

Thanks.....

It should be there, it's meant channel 6 and lower band.

But i think there is a bug there, it is showing 'l' when it should show 'u', mine is displaying channel 1l on the 380.61 firmware:)

Installed on both N66-U's a few days ago. No issues at all in "plain vanilla" usage.

Upgraded a N66R from 380.61. Seemed to work well except the Tools/Other Settings/Traffic Monitoring would not create or reset data files for custom location. Had the same issue on 380.61. Not a show stopper as I really like the way 380.61 manages to trim NVRAM. Would sure like to keep the history recore, though...

Ok, but wouldn't it be better to show what lower or upper channel it is using instead of showing a l or u? Something like the Wireless 5 GHz log shows (mine now shows Channel: 157/80). Right now my Wireless 2.4 GHz log is showing it using channel 11 with no l or u after it.

Thanks for the input....

That's how the Broadcom API reports it.

Any chance you could get the Asus app working again. Running 380.61 on Netgear r7000.
Netgear R7000 isn't supported by Rmerlin only asus routers.

I'm running 380.62_alpha1-g10c1c4f on my RT-AC68U since 8/26 with no issues including minidlna.

Only problem I had going to the latest alpha on my RT5300 is that I had to reboot my modem to get a connection to my ip. Otherwise, everything is great!

Can we expect updated alpha builds soon?
I'm very interested in commit 7fc864f:
- FIXED: Custom config file for igmpproxy wasn't working.

Thank you, Merlin!

Merlin, unfortunately issue #963 just occurred to me. Wifi wont accept connections after a scheduled reboot.

AC68U 380.62_alpha1-g10c1c4f.

New test builds are being uploaded. Mostly more webui polish, and a minor OpenVPN update.

Code:
3da9726 webui: Hide WPA key by default on the Wireless config page, reveal it when clicking in the input field
6062536 Updated documentation
0eba22e webui: ovpn clients still need some time before the XML data about their state can be accessed, so wait 1 second before updating the VPN Status page
15f0031 webui: Apply button didn't work on Smart Connect page for the RT-AC88U (backport from upstream)
2a7e9d8 webui: Ensure we aren't dealing with a subunit (guest network) when editing the wireless configuration
e78f0c4 Updated documentation
34c31b4 openvpn: Updated to 2.3.12
7c92753 webui: Report transfered bytes as MBytes on the VPNStatus page, more readable on very active tunnels.
2ede41d webui: No longer wait 3 secs before displaying VPNStatus summary, we no longer have to wait for a process signal to be processed by the OpenVPN daemon - the status file is automatically refreshed every few seconds
7fc864f igmpproxy: custom config file should be named igmpproxy.conf, not just igmpproxy.
b7e108b webui: Immediately refresh connection state of clients when toggling display of OpenVPN/PPTPD passwords
