Multiple scripts (Diversion, YazFi, ScMerlin) are showing updates available which in fact do not exist... Yikes!
Yes, I think my ISP is having issues. ThanksNo issue here with AMTM : diversion, unbound, skynet, Entware, etc. No update issue. Check on your side. Yikes!
What third party script is this? What is a "min update" in the AMTM update menu? If I go through the 3rd party script update, it doesn't do anything and amtm still states there is a min update.
A small update that doesn't require a new version number. You have to update within the 3rd party script. I.e. Open Skynet [2] - choose 10 ---> Update Skynet , [1] ---> Check For And Install Any New UpdatesWhat is a "min update" in the AMTM update menu? If I go through the 3rd party script update, it doesn't do anything and amtm still states there is a min update.
What third party script is this?
FlexQOS has replaced FreshQOS...Sorry I wasn't specific enough. I just meant each individual script's own update process. For instance, I have a min update for FreshJR QOS. If I go through that menu and use it's update feature, it still shows I have a min update. Is FreshJR QOS still supported?
Edit: I think it was just FreshJR that isn't updating. I think it's no longer supported. Can anyone confirm? What is the best alternative for online gaming and tv streaming services?
FreshJR Adaptive QOS is deprecated (https://diversion.ch/amtm.html), use FlexQoS, its successor.Sorry I wasn't specific enough. I just meant each individual script's own update process. For instance, I have a min update for FreshJR QOS. If I go through that menu and use it's update feature, it still shows I have a min update. Is FreshJR QOS still supported?

src/gz entware-ng http://pkg.entware.net/binaries/mipsel
src/gz entware http://bin.entware.net/aarch64-k3.10
http://pkg.entware.net/binaries/mipsel is the correct repo for your MIPSEL based router. This is an abandoned repository and no new packages will be added to it.I am trying to install chrony on my N66U, running John's latest fork and amtm 3.1.8. A fresh install of amtm and entware creates an opkg.conf file with the following repository
Chrony cannot be found there. Is this a pointer to the abandoned entware-ng repo?Code:src/gz entware-ng http://pkg.entware.net/binaries/mipsel
On my AC86U the repository is
Is the configuration file for MIPS correct?Code:src/gz entware http://bin.entware.net/aarch64-k3.10
sed -i '2i\src/gz entware-backports-mirror https://maurerr.github.io/packages' /opt/etc/opkg.conf
No, that repo is for kernel 3.4 versions. The Asus MIPSEL routers run on the much older 2.xx kernel. There is no known way to update the kernel version - it would be a monumental task to do that for a dying router series. Thanks for your reply! I am a bit (lot!) slow in these matters... Would the following repository work?
Code:https://bin.entware.net/mipselsf-k3.4/
Is that a problem of the kernel being too old?
Can you ping diversion.ch on the router? Is there any problem with installing new version on AC56U? I sshd today only to see several [Segmentation fault] on amtm and scripts menu, tried to reinstall amtm and I got this output ->
ptys@RT-AC56U-5088:/tmp/home/root# curl -Os https://diversion.ch/amtm/amtm && sh amtm
Segmentation fault
I'm not that kind of a coder to give a qualified answer. Thanks again - now I understand. The other way out would be to build my own packages from the source code?
Ping from GUICan you ping diversion.ch on the router?
If you are running John's fork as the firmware, amtm is built into it. Just enterPing from GUI

into the terminal and press Enter. No hope, had to clean &format jffs and re install whole stuff ¯\_(ツ)_/¯If you are running John's fork as the firmware, amtm is built into it. Just enteramtm
into the terminal and press Enter.
If not, try to run that install command again (and again), maybe reboot the router first to clear the partially downloaded file from its volatile location.
