OMG IT'S HAPPENING
Thanks for you info. It's a good news
It won't. Has nothing to do with the router, that's how the technology is. You need to be in close proximity to the router for it to work properly.Merlin support is great news. I was on the fence about trying this router. When a release version comes out I’ll finally try it as an upgrade to my old AC86U. I’m interested in seeing if it’ll have enough range on 6ghz to cover my whole 2 bedroom apartment.
you should see a big improvement over the ac 86uMerlin support is great news. I was on the fence about trying this router. It has been solid since install.I put the Merlin Beta 1 on mine.
So far, it’s been stable. I’ll check on it tomorrow morning.
Do you know if Merlin on the RT-BE92U supports vlan tagging? It has been solid since install.
I am also seeing lower RAM use.
VLAN features are identical to those of the stock firmware.Do you know if Merlin on the RT-BE92U supports vlan tagging?
just buy it already so you don't wait after, it's a good router, beta is stable so far as stock ;pI'm happy to hear that new merlin works good on BE92u. I'm waiting for stable realease of merlin fw and i will buy 92u.
3.0.0.6.102_37526 MLO Std, IoT network, AP-mode 2,5,6 activated, RAM at 67%
1) seems to crash router on 6Gz :-( changed it to power save mode as someone suggested, not sure if it's helping, devices don't connect to 6ghz due to being weakest
2) sometimes reconnects on 5ghz even

turned off IoT, let's see if that does anything.
unfortunately MLO std config does not allow you to unselect 6ghz
It's literally why I bought it, to have faster handover between when roaming around backyard house, and have minimal voip interruptionsTurn MLO off.
It has serious issues.
