Seems like mixed results, some say 8.1 fixed there problems, I seem to be suffering still. Its weird as on the phone I only notice as it says 4G rather than seeing the icon otherwise I wouldn't know.

I recently got asus ac66u and flashed it with Asuswrt-Merlin. Router is performing well however having issues with transmission, It is not working properly. It shows "Invalid arugment" after some data download. System log shows data write issues.
Also having issues with traffic data save on custom location. Transmission is installed on Entware.

I am still strugguling to get transmission working on asuswrt merlin fw. I formatted Usb drive again and installed transmission again. Now attached drives goes to read only mode. I tried to remount drive but getting error Invalid argument. I tried to remount by editing Fstab but it is also not worked. Please can someone help to sort these issues.

Which one of these antenna doesn't do anything at the moment? So I can get the best wifi connection around my house, is it only the forth used for the Mimo?

Unlike the WRT1900AC, this router uses all four antennas, since it's a real 4x4 stream router.

This has nothing to do with the firmware, as Download Master is a fully self-contained application.

Sounds like you tried to run minidlna more than once.

The only thing I could see then is HW acceleration was changed by Asus at some point in regard to handling UDP packets (which are extensively used by torrents). This is entirely out of my control as CTF is closed source.

I finally succeeded in fixing my problem with the limitation of bittorrent download speeds. The fix was to format the jffs partition (where I had a firewall rule to allow internet access for download client). I will try to edit again such a rule to see if this has any effect.
