Same here AC3100 66-B1 excellent, no issues not that i thought there would be. :)o_O

Flashed Alpha 4 on my AC5300 last night, and I'll update to this beta later tonight. I'm loving this firmware so far, thanks for all you do, @RMerlin !

Quick question, sorry if this question has been asked a lot, but I am finding mixed answers online. I've been away from custom firmware for several years, and I was surprised to see that TX Power is no longer user editable. Has it become illegal in the USA to increase power?

"OpenVPN NCP support is now fully disabled when set as such on the webui."
Is there any flag to do this?

"openvpn[968]: Recursive routing detected, drop tun packet to [AF_INET]xxx:1194" as in alpha4 ...

In your other thread I assumed you flashed 380.64_4, though I don't recall seeing that Merlin changed that in the changelog.

Find the TX power adjustment under wireless/professional and it's at the bottom of the page.

A few minutes ago I lost IPv6 on my computer, however upon checking the router gui it stated that it still had it. I tried resetting my winsocks and when that didn't change things I rebooted the router. Once it finished my access was restored and traffic began flowing smoothly again. I'm really starting to wonder if my hardware is at fault here and I've already suggested to customer loyalty that this unit be replaced as its barely a month old.

I have had similar issues with IPv6 on my AC88-U. I have also experienced other problems where just having IPv6 activated influences IPv4 single thread speed tests, but I will post on that in a separate topic. I should add that this is using the current release version of Merlin, not this beta release.

In the alpha series when the temp unit was changed on the admin-performance tuning page it also reflected the same setting on the tools-sysinfo page.

That's not possible since the Sysinfo page never implemented Fahrenheit conversion.

Has it become illegal in the USA to increase power?

That's correct. It's been the case since last summer.

"OpenVPN NCP support is now fully disabled when set as such on the webui."
Is there any flag to do this?

"openvpn[968]: Recursive routing detected, drop tun packet to [AF_INET]xxx:1194" as in alpha4 ...

No, totally unrelated. Never seen that error message before, you might want to check on Google since it's generated by OpenVPN. Please provide more details on your OpenVPN configuration.

Seems you are running something on your router that's causing it to run out of memory. Download Master and other torrent clients are a bad idea.

Am I the only one who faces this?

Works normally for me. Post more info about your type of WAN connection and your QoS configuration.

It was OK with 365_4. Dual WAN is enabled for android phone but phone is not connected. I only connect the phone when my primary connection is down. I have a cable modem which is in bride mode and AC 88u gets the WAN IP. It's configured to Auttomatic IP.

QoS is configured as Adaptive QoS, up and down both manually set to 50. Also the script is enabled on the below post.

@RMerlin I don't know what was the problem but, I set my upload speed as 50 again and applied, now it's fixed. :) Thank you.

on RT-AC3200 everything is working so far ...

Just thought I'd mention that beta 1 is working well for me on an RT-AC3200 as well.

I also just wanted to mention that I seemed to have WiFi issues with 380.65_4 whereas previously 380.65_2 had been working well and was stable. I appreciate that it is unlikely you changed anything directly related to WiFi between those two releases but even after full resets certain devices would drop off the network and not be able to re-establish a connection, despite them popping in and out of existence on the System Log -> Wireless Log. This seemed to be affecting just 2.4GHz clients, but that might be just because most of the affected devices (non-computer type ones, e.g. Sonos, Epson Printer, Withings Home) are 2.4GHz only. Disabling airtime fairness helped but only by buying a few hours.

Anyway, long story short 380.65_4 Wifi wasn't stable for me, 380.66 Alpha 4, and now Beta 1, seem to have rectified the specific issue I was having.
