Beta 1 has been running awesome. No issues so far cant wait to test beta 2

Beta 1 running sweet on my AX88U (Router mode) and AC88U (Access Point). No issues to report. DoT working as expected.

Thanks.

Just did a dirty and a clean update to beta-1 on an RT-AC86U - since then my Android phone shows up as 2 devices connecting under the same name - sometimes on 2.4, sometimes 5 Ghz - never happened or saw that before. Router has been rebooted, phone has been rebooted, problem does not show under 10_2. And yes, did manual config after factory reset. Went back to 10_2 for now
Noticed this issue as well on multiple routers. One I can understand as I have three ip cameras behind a wireless bridge, but at another location I see my DVR showing up as 2. Showing a different IP address as well as manually assigned which makes me think it’s got a static assigned somewhere but I can’t find it.

I've had the issue before even on stock with a repeater it's something to do with it thinks two devices or ips are assigned to that device,

I also had it on my pi hole which is running on a rock64 till I set the IP as static on the interface, then it went away.

A little weirdness today, but I am unable to isolate the cause.
Tried to log into the GUI this morning while on the Beta since it dropped. It has run flawlessly, until the login attempt. I got the sign in screen, but never was able to get the GUI to come up. Tried multiple browsers to no avail. Finally, did a hard reset of the router. That restored normal ops...
RT AC-5300

same thing happened to me today - exactly as per yours on an ac-5300

That too...I even have it installed. Sad part I got the command memorized.

Same issue with an AC88u running in Media Bridge mode connected to an AX88u. Both running 384.11b1. I have had to restart httpd twice the past few days.
Oddly, the AX88u never has this issue.
Restarting DNSMAQ is one command I tend to get wrong. “Service” never complains.
Thanks Jack for the script!

Everything that should be there, is.
I’m not seeing any issues....

Great thanks, as before I found devices would keep vanishing and reappearing in the network map, if it's now stable thats great to see it fixed. I'm on 384.8_2, will update to this version when the final release is out.

made a few changes to setup -(upgraded hard drive that was running setup). did a factory reset to see how it handles after doing a reset. running strong still no issues.

I can't participate in the beta right now as I am close to wrapping up a project and need a stable environment.

I am interested in the interaction of DoT, OpenVPN Client and dnsmasq. Does the interaction still work as they do in 384.10 and prior firmware releases??

Perhaps one or two 384.11 beta, OpenVPN Client and Diversion users run the test cases below and report back? Many Thanks!

How did you set it exactly? I have it set for MAC and IP address binding, but it stills shows as a .108 and .102 address for the DVR. I can live with the other location with cameras behind a wireless bridge.

beta1 working fine for the last four days on my dual AC86U main/AP combo. DNSSEC+DoT enabled and connected to quad9. Nothing unusual in my syslog with the routers set to report info level and higher. No temporary loss of internet connectivity that a few people are reporting in the 45713 thread.

Betas working great!
A modem restart, a clean install of beta1, and 8hrs to get IPV6 issues to self heal
DNSSEC+DoT to CF working as reported by others.

I've been away for months - lost engagement when Merlin firmware for my 56U stopped. Now have finally ordered a 86U. Not opening the box untill 384.11 lands :) which it might before my 86U arrives :)

I still use my 56u as a paper weight

I remember doing it on the device it self on it's nic settings, if that is even possible to do, I'm going to guess there is a web interface.

I set it to static and have it an IP with in the range 192.168.X.X and it works.

Hmmm, I set a static on the device settings and for good measure the Mac binding on router. Possible they conflicting now with new firmware? [emoji848]
