Bridging Routers

You don't have to apologize. I already had the Asus unit but I want to do it right the first time to minimize the problems once I get it going.

Because I have been reading from this forum and dslreports sites and it seems that # 6 makes little more sense than AP method but configuration involved little more from #6.

I am not sure what option 6 is? I am just bridging a conversation on this forum. I am not looking at that big picture.

I like DSLReports but I have not seen option 6. Please provide link? I will read it.
 
I think you still connect the ASUS to the LAN port. I assume you are connecting the ASUS router to ONT box using the WAN port on the ASUS router. You did not mention whether you have a MediaShare DVR? It makes a difference on how you hook this up. I have not used this service so it will need to be figured out. Hook it up and test it. Figure out what does not work.
