I just checked the code, and it seems it's currently hardcoded to 3. I suspect that adding it to the custom script doesn't override it.
I'll look into making it configurable in a future update.

maybe you can help... im trying to get OpenVPN working... (followed the tomato guide to the letter)
Open VPN in UDP mode, lets me connect, but i cant ping hosts on my lan.
Changing to TCP, it just wont establish a connection, Tunnelblick on my mac, just constantly cycles a connect/disconnect sequence.
