I don't see the point of this.
Nor do I...
I don't see the point of this.
Seems like a pretty significant oversight in Asus's 160MHz implementation.
I think your first post is a bit misleading (and to be fair comes across a little condescending)
Nor do I...
No, the Chipset firmware is doing what it does by design...
Perhaps because I know a bit more than you regarding low level WiFi drivers/firmware...
Yes I have to agree, it has been running great for months with this script in use.I have almost forgotten that I have this installed and running still on my 'dirty, dirty, dirty...' upgraded RT-AX88U (see my signature). I have seen this script work many times, I don't know why others don't see the same benefits too?
Hi,
Could you please name the tool?
Thank you,
amplatfus
installed fine on my ax88
I find it useful
it is because the channel you have selected.I got a weird problem. I remember seeing the "802.1ax/WiFi 6 mode" option on the Wifi settings. Now I don't see it. I don't know when it disappeared from the GUI so can't say what caused it to go away. I have a AX88 with two AC5000 in a AIMESH, but even with that I remember having the 802.1ax / WiFi 6 option in the gui with previous Merlin releases, on 386.2_4 now. Even though I have 160 MHz or 20/40/80/160 Mhz selected, still only ever see 80 Mhz through ChannelHog, am I missing something?
Then, maybe a different problem. I can only select "Auto, 149, 153, 157, 161, 165" , anything else only has Auto as an option... I would think that it might be because of the AC5300's but I had the option before even with these same channels... Gonna have to play around a bit maybe some other setting screwed me up...it is because the channel you have selected.
