Thanks for the feedback guys. @Makaveli, I'll be curious to know what you find.I use express VPN but currently at work. Will test the Windows VPN client when I get home and let you know. About 6 hours from now

Just curious if Diversion do version check of pixelserv-tls for compatibility and update it if required? I see we can update within the ep menu though but was curious if everything is automatic because all this time when a new Diversion update was offered I just clicked u and was thinking it was full auto.

The pixelserv-tls package is part of the Entware. That's why there is a ep, 6, 5 option to update Entware packages.Just curious if Diversion do version check of pixelserv-tls for compatibility and update it if required? I plan to do this today, that wasn't my question though... ;-)Boss that firmware 380.68 is very old now.
you will run into issues updating some of these software because of it.
Ok just to be clear I never installed standalone Entware, I'm relying only on Diversion. The pixelserv-tls package is part of the Entware. That's why there is a ep, 6, 5 option to update Entware packages.
Then do the router firmware update first, and then a fresh install of Diversion as there would be issues with your old Entware version.I plan to do this today, that wasn't my question though... ;-)
Diversion by default installs Entware, always has.Ok just to be clear I never installed standalone Entware, I'm replying only on Diversion.

Show me the screenshot with the Entware version and where it's installed from in ep, 6.And if I update Entware first?
You should be good to go. You may have to run ep, 6, 5 twice to be up to date.
It's probably better to remove the USB device for the firmware update, eject it through the WebUI button. Diversion and everything else will stop properly that way and not start up until you plug the device back in after the firmware update.Good, let's start the firmware update then, I will first disable Skynet, update Entware like you suggested, then disable Diversion, do the firmware update and restart both DIversion and Skynet after that.
edit: oh and will prolly install uiDivStats now that the firmware version is good for it.
Good advice, that was planned but was about to forget to do it, thanks! It's probably better to remove the USB device for the firmware update, eject it through the WebUI button. I'd add that in my case having more than 1 partition also caused failures with Skynet. EXT4 + single partition = success. This was an issue for me when my USB stick was not ext4 formatted...
