OK, this case I have not covered. But this should work and will reset the Dnsmasq logs. So if you have stats enabled = too bad.
In d select "7. Reset Diversion ads counter or logs" and then reset Dnsmasq log files.
Browse some YT videos and then run b,8,2 again. I'm crossing fingers.

chrome and Panasonic TV - not that I know of but I was originally using Unbound as the primary DNS for ALL LAN Clients. But not now since I can switch easily between Unbound and dnsmasq-
are you doing this on a device that might use a hard-coded dns or just from your home desktop computers?
If you are doing this from a device that has a hard-coded dns, are you telling DNS filter on your router to force traffic with global mode enabled and set to router?

Yes DNS set to Router as above

Oh, @joe scian can you run that gig command again, replacing the single A with four As (AAAA).

Glad I built these options in.

The first time I pressed "recheck YouTube ips" i saw a message along the lines of "sed unmatched /" but I couldn't scrollback to see it from my Android SSH client. Subsequent re-runs of the option do not produce the message. Not sure if any harm caused by it!

Yes I think I had same message when the IP address changed to the correct one.

I did same troubleshooting steps and cleared dnsmasq and now it's working! Thanks a lot @thelonelycoder

I see, have to escape things. Thought that would work. Is the YT IP shown valid?

Does one have to escape the ":"s in IPv6 addresses when using sed?
I do it with the dots now for IPv4, but IPv6?

Hm, there's several shown. They look valid

I see, and why. How can I get dig to only show one. Or I'd have to use awk to only print first result.
I only get one IP returned here, never seen two or more.

Need some figuring out time.

Will that output only one domain?
Code:
/opt/bin/dig r4.sn-ntqe6n76.googlevideo.com A +short | awk '{print $1}'
Run it without the pipe to see if actually there are more IPs associated please.
