I've tried the latest update you've provide, problem still exist, even worse, all security type doesnt work as it should be
wpa2-personal and wpa-auto-personal unable to connect to internet

I hope ASUS post new GPL code for this devices.
because wl driver is precompiled by ASUS. I can't do anything in this situation.

I extract wl.ko driver from RT-N12HP 376.2048 firmware and replace it in my compilation.
Driver version
wl0: Jul 15 2014 17:26:37 version 5.110.27.20012

IPV6 issues

Hello, my ISP provided native IPV6 support by dual stack, however, my RT-N15U does not show any indication that it has the IPV6 address. A previous firmware (3.0.0.4.374.168) can let me link to IPV6 network, but all the firmware after that show nothing, I was wondering that if you can test the IPV6 function on RT-N15U. Thank you.

I have not any providers with native IPv6 support.

I have not RT-N12 D1.

I'm not sure in this:

Other then that range seem about the same, think the router I got maybe defective though. The signal will drop from full to 1 range is about 50 ft it seems

Testing in RT-N16

First of all, thanks AndreyPopov

I hesitate if trying or not the mod6a for rt-16n, but finally I decided to download it twice, and compare md5 sum to be sure the download was correct... and flashed it.

I like it, it feels fast and so far good. Nice touch to have the option for openvpn and nntp. Also, I was having truble to deactivate de pptp in the beta1 from rmerl... In your build it is disabled and I will try both vpns soon.

I want to share the md5 for that download here:

Also, I want to note to other rt-n16 cowboys out there that if you install this, it will reset your ports, router password, port forwarding, and all settings to default, so beware. Despite that, it is the same as the rmerlin with some things extra.
