currently there is some interface without translation even set to different language besides english.
(E.g. Tools, OpenVPN Client Settings, Performance tuning)
Is there any plans adding language transcript?
Help is available here if needed.
Thanks

I have no plan to provide translation for the elements I'm adding, as I don't have access to a team of translators to update things every time I change something. And past experience with another project of mine has shown me that relying on volunteers simply doesn't work, as those volunteers tend to disappear after a few months.

Softwares like DVBviewer and utorrent (I guess) are relying on their volunteer users to translate in local language, and once the transcript is done, it won't require much afford to maintain the transcript unless there is new major functions releases.
Btw, Traditional Chinese is my first language and just let you know I am willing to help if needed. :)

i think his answer was NO

so what about the 1000 other languages and dialects , its prob easier if users just translate pages as needed and i can see merlins case here , if it was at a professional paid level it might be worth it but you understand this is all volunteer even merlin

Translations are really hard to do correctly - as it's not just the "words" but the context, and it has to fit within the user interface layout.

then perhaps those that choose to use rmerlins fw just need to also learn english or be indicated that if you use the fw some pages need to be read in english

I know his answer was no, just letting him know about that, doesn't mean he must to.
