1. AIMesh support backported in from the new 2018 Asuswrt firmware. My routers are running it on Asuswrt and you can't mix & match with Merlin.
2. Removal of the processor-throttling code that activates if you try to change the clock speed. Maybe even make the processor clock speed GUI-accessible, and actually stick across reboots.
3. Active Directory integration with samba/NTFS. I'd like an option to be able to control access & authentication thru AD. May not seem like much, but this is especially significant because, as I found out the hard way, you can't take ownership of any file system objects to delete things as an admin. I had to move all the files off an entire drive and format it just to get rid of some files that I couldn't remove any other way. The existing authentication mechanism is too primitive to be useful.
I don't know how much work is associated with each of these, but I'd sure be happy to contribute to their development if it can be done and I have no doubt many others would too.
