Need help with Transmission in OpenWRT.

I installed Transmission on GL.iNet Slate AX router and it its working well for most part, but im new to OpenWRT and I can't figure out why download speeds are slow.

I have tested same exact dozen torrents on my Intel based MacBook which saturates my wan speeds, but the download speeds via Transmission on the Slate router are all over the place. A lot of times it won't even use half the bandwidth. CPU usage on the router is around 2%.

Here is the config for the Transmission on the router. Please let me know if I need to change anything.

Update.

I got it working after performing a clean install, but two hours later the speeds went back down the drain again. Im guessing either OpenWrt 21 is outdated or Transmission app needs a lot of work.

When I download torrents on my laptop, I see +2,000 seeds and connect to a hundred under a minute. On the router, I only see about 150 seeds using same exact torrent/s and connect to 40-60 seeds, even after deleting the torrent and adding it again.

Maybe in six months they'll make necessary improvements? Time will tell.

You're likely running out of user memory - cut the number of parallel torrents and peers per torrent

It looks like also posted the same for advice on a r/openwrt forum about the same time.
Over there one of the respondants said the router in question does not have support for hardware off-load and will suffer in this configuration. Suggested an alt device which the OP said they now had on order.
Pending your results with the newly arrived GL-MT3000.

I bought MT6000 Flint 2 and its running great. Had to return the small travel routers; Slate AX and Beryl AX.
