I purchased a new BE-7200 router today from Best Buy. It does not seem to have a WTFAST option in the firmware, am I missing the option somewhere? The Global Asus website shows WT-FAST coming with the BE-88u.

So it looks like I am dated. If I am reading this correctly older routers had WTFAST built into the firmware and the new routers just use the pc client. It also looks like you only get a 3 day trial now (which you get without an Asus Router). Not exactly sure how Asus is advertising WTFAST included with router. https://www.asus.com/support/faq/1015726/

It actually states that it is end of service from 'today'. Dated 2024/4/22.

Looks like a case of asus laziness, theres a new openwrt based implementation they could replacing the existing module with.

I guess the new client could be implemented by @RMerlin, if enough people requested it, but its probably not on his radar and just something else that could go wrong, relying on more closed code.
