I have an RT-BE88U. After a power cycle, nothing can connect to it via WiFi. I get wrong password from any device trying to connect. Yet, when I go into the router interface via an Ethernet connection the passwords still show as being stored correctly. If I go to the General/Network Map section and click apply under System Status it starts accepting logins again. I updated firmware and it still persists. I believe it was working after initial setup. Since then, I enabled AI protection and let it change some things. I am wondering if that may have caused the issue. I tried disabling AI protection but the issue is still there even without it being enabled. I haven't done a factory reset yet. I thought I would ask to see if anyone has ideas on what the issue may be before starting from scratch again. This is my first Asus router so it's certainly possible I am just missing something simple. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Haven’t had the problem here.

Maybe try a full reset without using any saved settings?

Same here, no problem with WiFi after a reboot.
Sometimes it happens to me with LAN with my PC, I think it might be a ARP issue, disabling and enabling again the LAN card fix it.

Could it be you are using 160MHz bandwidth on the 5.0 band, causing DFS to delay WiFi startup for ~10 minutes while it determines RADAR/DFS conditions? If so, try 80MHz bandwidth and a non-DFS control channel to not use DFS (no radio startup delay).
