Hi,

I would like to reset to factory my N66u with the last firmware os Merlin.
I have a lot of issues applying changes and getting empty tables and no changes applied...

Could I save just the configuration regarded on manual ip asingment and port forwarding?

Just want keep this for the new configuration before reset to factory.

Have been a hard work type manually each IP (75) and the port forwarding rules...

Thanks!!

John's nvram tool is golden for this. (Thank you John for sharing this!)

In a nutshell, it allows you to save the configuration settings in a file on a USB stick plugged into the router. After you flash the new firmware, you can restore the configuration from the USB stick.

Fuller instructions are included in the zip file.

Be sure to safely remove the USB stick (from the router menu) before you flash the rooter, or before you reboot it.

You will also need something like PuTTY or WinSCP installed on your PC in order to access the USB stick and start the tool.
