Unable Upgrade from Asuswrt-Merlin 376.48

I am unable to upgrade my RT-AC68U router to any firmware. I am currently running Asuswrt-Merlin build 376.48 and have been unsuccessful in upgrading to any firmware, be it Merlin or Asus official. The upgrade process goes through the steps just as it should, but on completion, the firmware version is unchanged. I have performed a factory reset and tried unplugging the router for a few minutes but no change. The router still functions as it should, just will not update.

Any help would be much appreciated.
