Well the main thing I would change is the Readability of the Easy Menu.. That is the obstacle I see causing an issue. Maybe make it more user friendly as users could get confused with how the options a presented or selected. Unbound itself is pretty straight forward, I don't see any issues with its present setup from unbound manager stand point.Going back to the original question by @Martineau. Security is a difficult question to answer if one is only considering Unbound. It is all about layers which may include various technologies. For its part Unbound is a secure solution but like with everything people need to understand the limitations. From the security point of view is Unbound running locally on your router less secure than Quad or Google? All support DNSSEC technology.
Now, if one is looking for pure performance, your local Unbound on the router cannot possibly compete with external DNS servers in some situations and it will depend in large on your browsing habits. I think @Martineau is thinking of the best way to build new easy menu. These questions are very valid to consider, what is most important? I think there should be a choice and users must decide what they want. Having choice is a good thing.
Nop. it's in in the USB 2.0 slot ... had it before in that configuration and the stick used to disconnect quite often ...Are you using a USB stick in the 3.0 port in USB 3.0 mode? Try changing it to USB 2.0 mode instead.
Touche ... I'll do it in a sec .. CheersYou may want to put it into the USB 3.0 port in USB 2.0 mode then.
Playing around with a new graph showing the ad blocked domains (similar to uiDivStats). Curious if this is useful or not?

I think the same would work for all queries but may impact performance because logging needs to be enabled. I think with syslog-ng the impact should be smaller, because it provides a memory buffer. The graph above has a minimal impact since using log-local-actions only writes out the "failed" lookups because they are blocked, which should be minimal.
Done it ... and it was ok until this morning when I tried to have a look at the statistics tab. For some reason I can't see DNS and Performance Histogram- says requires extended statistics enabled. Another thing I observed the help&support tab doesn't work - gives 404 error.Touche ... I'll do it in a sec .. Cheers
So, I went into unbound menu trying to find the extended statistic command - for some reason I can't find it under Unbound advanced tools. I run -sa

Yea two weeks ago, I had the same results too. weird that it has changed for me now. I wonder if my ISP could have something to do with it.@Ubimo, I have the same.
Hi,I tried but i still end up with the same issue. For some reason wired devices and 5GHz connections won't drop. It seems only 2.4GHz ones ...
