Hi,
Model:
Asus RT-AC68U

Firmware:
Asuswrt-Merlin 384.19

today my router was unable to connect the VPN/PPTP/L2TP
during years that was working fine
any suggestion ?

Did you recently flash 384.19_0?

When was the last time you did a full reset on the router and did not use a backup config file to re-configure it?

PPTP is an insecure protocol. You should use openvpn.
is a howto file to read through about this open vpn ?
I made a try but it did not work...

You can see if any suggestions help fix the immediate issues for you. But I would guess a full reset/reconfigure is faster and more stable.

i would advice to start using ipsec.
