Skynet What are some good current block lists? - Skynet

Does anyone know what happened to
Code:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/jumpsmm7/GeneratedAdblock/master/filter.list
it seems the Author nuked his repo & re-created so I cannot fetch the old filter list I've been using for years from the commit history, Does anyone have a backup copy?
I've tried google cache & Wayback machine can't find a copy anywhere..

that large filelist breaks some stuff it seems and can be redundant if you have pihole or something similar installed as i've seen some similar items on these lists

This is why it's important not to go overboard. Stick with known-good lists and keep it lean. The larger this thing gets, the more it's going to punish and slow down your router.

Don't want to sound completely biased, but @SomeWhereOverTheRainBow's list is probably one of the best, with mine in a distant second. I built my own list and been using it for years, blocking the baddies from our family's network with minimal disruptions to blocked false positive content. ;)

We even joined forces to build this filter validator to ensure the list you use doesn't have some gummed up content in there that could break Skynet:

Here's the list URLs:

I can confirm the filter lists share previously by Viktor Jaep are good, I knew/used them until last January when I switched to Jack-Sparr0w's list.
At the beginning, I was happy with Jack-Sparr0w's list, which was between 700k-900k IPs. I really had few false positive and my router wasn't too much affected.
But when the list grows until more than 1000k, false positive raised up and my router was demonstrating difficulties.
I saw yesterday IPs shrink a little bit (around 950k) and it seems things are slowly going back to normal.

To summarize, if you want to avoid trouble, choose one of the list from SomeWhereOverTheRainbow or Vickor Jaep.
If you are ready to face some trouble (and learn how to diagnose and whitelist stuff in Skynet), you can try Jack-Sparr0w's list. I hope he will maintain its list because overall I like it.
