[ 3006.102_4 alpha Build(s) ] available build(s)

DDNS to www.no-ip.com not working. After clicking Apply it defaults to Custom. Was able to connect to the Asus DDNS service.

Does this mean we don’t have to do a factory reset when migrating from 3004 to 3006?
Yes. If it was necessary, it would be specified in the changelog.

Has anyone played around yet with VLANs and the SDN features of the 3006 firmware? Are there any websites (at Asus or otherwise) that show screenshots? Or give any descriptions of the new features?

I would like to know if you can include a LAN port in an SDN or VLAN group, or are we stuck having to script that feature in a bodge? I can see the SDN/VLAN feature replacing YazFi. I currently use my own version YazFi that uses bridges instead so I could include a wired AP into the guest network.

I have the AX86U Pro and was hoping for a 388.9 build to resolve an issue with adding a TAP interface to the br0 bridge, but I am thinking that the 86U Pro will not see a 388.9 firmware. I don't mind upgrading to the 3006 branch, but I have not heard good things about the early releases as far as VLAN and SDNs go.

I self host two websites as well as the family depending on working internet (working from home, etc.), so I would really like to see what I am getting myself into before actually having to take the plunge in order to keep down time as little as possible.

Thanking all in advance. I really wish I had the ability to test this firmware, but I am not in a position to do so.

@RMerlin. First of all, Thank you very much for your work and bringing us this first alpha Build! This alpha Build is already working fine on my 86-Pro.
With this first alpha Build I see the Wireless Log Guest Network Pro on the System Log - Wireless Log page and I see the 'main' on Display low level details. Fine for me.
Now that we have the Guest Network Pro. is it possible to have a "extra" Wireless Log TAB for these GN networks?

Under LAN --> VLAN --> Select the port --> Select to trunk or access --> Select the VLAN of choice:

Guest Networks are integrated into the same Wireless Log. Here's an example from my RT-BE96U main router - that network is on a separate VLAN, and is also connected to a Wireguard VPN client:

As indicated in multiple posts already, the Wireless Log in these alphas is not working at this time. Asus redesigned the way wireless networks are handled in 37xxx, and these alphas are currently a mixture of my 37xxx code and Asus' 36xxx GPL. I still need to revert my 37xxx specific changes for this to work.

These builds are still very early work in progress builds.

Oke Thank you!

I found the cause, upnp_pinhole_enable=0
Changed it to 1, and it works.

nvram set upnp_pinhole_enable=1

Code:
nvram show | grep upnp_pinhole_enable
upnp_pinhole_enable=0

You may find that once this gets to release Advanced_WAN_Content.asp may not exist. Pinholing will work (as your hack has worked on my router) but not the page (404)
Maybe @RMerlin could work his magic (?).

Factory reset and setup from scratch all working great so far.
Thank You :)

Upgrading to this firmware kills the wan on my GT-AXE16000 using automatic ip. Factory reset keeping all settings stock doesn’t resolve the issue either. Nothing obvious in syslog. I’ve also tried using both the 2.5G WAN port and 10G to rule that out. Downgrading resolves the issue and the connection works fine again.

Yup.

Here's mine. FYI. IoT network.. RT-AX88U Pro, hard reset install. Some more observations re Asus's still flaky Network Table in a separate post.
