Mastiff is closed source and outside of my control.

Best you can do is to disable Asus NAT tunnel under Sysinfo -> Other Settings. Beside that there's nothing I can do.

After 2 days smooth sailing can say that everything works very well both with the router and node.
Log is empty at level "warning".

Now waiting for first release...

Have had my venerable (4.5 years) 88U running the new BETA for a few hours... my usual dirty boot.

Was coming here to inquire about download speeds in QoS Speedtest (about 200-250 Mbps *lower* than previously), and noticed a comment early in this thread about QoS and speed... since I had only enabled it recently because of seriously low Wi-Fi speeds reported by Amazon FireTV Stick 4K Pro - and it didn't seem to make a difference - I disabled QoS, and rebooted.

Now I just saw my highest [speed reported by QoS Speedtest] to date: 933.61 !

Sweet - and I suppose I should not be playing with options / settings I don't really understand.

OT: with a bandwidth of about 1Gbit/s there is no reason for QOS - even if Fire TV complains.

This morning my router (AX88U) was in a strange state. The WAN light was red and when I got into the UI the internet connection said it was disconnected. But everything seemed to be working just fine. I have internet and no errors in the system log either. Here is a screen shot showing on the right that there is internet traffic but the connection shows it disconnected:

I updated the router 2 days ago to beta. I reboot fixed the problem. But it would be helpful to know why this was happening?

My ax88u shows internet not connected until i get an IPv6 but everything is already workung at IPv4.

So look if you have got an IPv6 when your router is in state of showing "internet is interrupted". Sometimes it takes some minutes to get an IPv6 from my isp.

A reboot wouldn't help if ping resolve fails. It would come right back again after a few failed attempts.

Not sure How it works, but it might ping via IPv6 or IPv4 first (one has priority?) and fail in a more permanent way if one is not timely answered. And end up just assuming net is down and do not try to ping the other anymore except on reboot...?
