RMerlin has repeatedly addressed such questions in other posts. They are at the mercy of Asus releasing 3006 GPL's which apparently has been confined to just a few devices. For example see several of RMerlin's posts in the following:By the way, is there any chance XT12 will see the Merlin 3006 version anytime soon?
Yes.the zip I DL'd from sourceforge for my AX88u_pro has a .pkgtb file - is this correct?
Yes. Not a separate one, but a continuation of the original 386.14 thread:Is there a thread for 3004.386.14_2 as well? I haven't seen it...
Mine failed to mount on the first reboot after upgrade but has been successful on all subsequent reboots.Only thing is: External USB disk not mounting. It's just me that not mount or are more people have same problem???
+1 on this I am used to the ROG theme, I like itWas going to chime in on this as well for the AXE16000 - I've just become used to the ROG interface and I like it more.
But I do understand. Thanks for the update and your work! I look forward to getting back on the ROG theme next release.
Had exact same problem on a remote unit. Had to SSH in using Wireguard (as Tailscale is on the USB SSD) and reboot it a few times using the CLI, then it came back.Only thing is: External USB disk not mounting. It's just me that not mount or are more people have same problem???
Mine looks like this RT-AX88U_PRO_3004_388.8_4_nand_squashfs.pkgtb - full name is better the just the extension...the zip I DL'd from sourceforge for my AX88u_pro has a .pkgtb file - is this correct?
Sure, but I don’t recall seeing that file type/extension before. Just wanted to confirm I wasn’t going to need to try unbricking my routerMine looks like this RT-AX88U_PRO_3004_388.8_4_nand_squashfs.pkgtb - full name is better the just the extension...
