Anyone on AC86U?? how is it so far? Is it good dirty updating from latest stable?? Thanks!!
Seems to be working fine for me as well from the last stable.

Thank you, sir. I've added it to Diversion's whitelist but it did not seem to help.
I downgraded to back to 386.3_2. The red light is now white again and the GUI shows Connected to the Internet.

Still no GT-AXE11000?

"There are still a few remaining issues that are currently forcing me to delay support for the RT-AC68U_V4 and GT-AXE11000, these will need to be revisited once their respective GPL archives are fixed by Asus and Broadcom."

AX56U, Dirty upgrade from 386.4 beta 3 to 386.4.

Thank you and happy New Year

GT-AX11000: Dirty upgrade without problems. Cheers

Dirty upgrade running smoothly in regular mode and with Nord VPN active and no leaks (IPv4).
Will try v6 tomorrow, just to see if it runs...

With how long it took Asus to fix their GPL issues and having to wait for Broadcom on top of that...

will do a factory reset with FW_RT_AX88U_300438645934 and flash 386.4 again to test :)

I ran a dirty upgrade on my main router (AX88U) with no issues - coming from 286.3_2.
As I have a pure IPv4 setup (incl. external WAN address), I have nothing to say about the IPv6 changes.
The only change I did, is to remove haveged from entware, as it's now default in the firmware.

With an updated router I am a happy camper in 2022! :)
Many thanks to Eric and a Happy New Year to the SNBForums community!

PS.: A donation to Eric for his great work is on the way - as (nearly) every beginning of the year...

So far so good. Am trying the release on main router and stock on mesh node to see if I can get rid of this wifi restart on mesh node.

Clean upgrade from 386.3_2 on both AX88U and AX58U.

'Major release' donation on the way. Once again a very nice piece of work so lots of thanks to Eric and a happy new year to all.

Thank you.
Happy New Year!

AC88U clean flash, running smooth. Thanks for your work and have a happy new year!!

Make sure you don't block access to dns.msftncsi.com which is used for WAN monitoring.
I've added dns.msftncsi.com to my Diversion and Skynet whitelist. I still cannot ping dns.msftncsi.com from my AC86U.
Why is that?
I'm also running unbound on my router.
Code:
admin@RT-AC86U-9AD0:/tmp/home/root# ping dns.msftncsi.com
PING dns.msftncsi.com (131.107.255.255): 56 data bytes

My AC86U has the internet working. Connected etc. But yeah tried pinging it and nothing.

Maybe the server does not answer Pings!? - same from my location at the heart of Europe. Too much traffic and could be a Denial of Service protection...
