I’ll try; as a mesh node there’s no real WebGui advantage but for me it was the ability to be able to SSH in to the router and use amtm to install and run the MerlinAU Addon on a remote node, for more reliable Merlin FW updates.
Quite a few folks say just use stock FW on a node anyway, you won’t see any performance improvements that I’m aware of.
